Pick Your Own Small Fruit Farm

Flavorful Local Tastes at Great Prices

Hello. My name is Rick Dean, owner of Fairfield Fruits. I've been growing small fruits for over 30 years. This farm was started in 2006 on 30 acres of former tobacco land. All fruits including the strawberries are heavily straw mulched, and the grass between the rows is mowed. Strawberries, which grow in their own organically filled 2-gallon pouches and are drip irrigated, start in late May. Good picking will last for only a few weeks, so come early if you can. The drive out to the farm and the Fairfield area (including state routes 509, 652 or 48) are picturesque with many pastoral views through Kentucky's rolling countryside. Come and enjoy local fruit.
